Papa Grows Funk

With an all-star line-up featuring Russell Batiste, Jr. (funky Meters; Vida Blue), John Gros (formerly George Porter, Jr.'s Runnin' Pardners), Jason Mingledorff (formerly Galactic), June Yamagishi (Wild Magnolias), and alternating bassists Peter V. (formerly Cyril Neville) and Marc Pero (formerly Func Haus), Papa Grows Funk has grown from a weekly Monday night jam-session into a national touring act with a coast to coast fan base.

The Revivalists play original rock music with creativity, energy, and impressive ability. They add a unique sound to the New Orleans music scene and can infuse a venue with purpose and energy. With live sets that change with every show they have grown to become one of the powerhouses of the New Orleans rock scene.
