To book your band at Tipitina's you must first mail a full press kit with CD, photo, and press clippings to:

Please wait at least 2-3 weeks to follow up on your press kit to book a gig at Tipitina's. Club contact is at 504-895-8477.

Tipitina's Homegrown Night is an opportunity for new and emerging artists to play on Tip's stage. Here are the details:

  • Each night features 4 bands at 9, 10, 11 PM and midnight.
  • No cover. Each band is given a set of tickets with corresponding numbers to hand out.
  • The tickets are tallied at the end of the night and bands with 100 or more tickets may get a chance for another gig at Tipitina's opening or headlining in the future.
  • "Homegrown Night" is on Wednesday nights from September-May and Thursday nights June-August.
  • Bands can purchase a CD and video of their performance for $20.
    • To book your band for Homegrown Night please with band contact name, phone, email, type of music, and month available.
