New Orleans Social Club

The members of The New Orleans Social Club, a collective of displaced New Orleans legends, have made a clear and "dignified political statement" (Orlando Sentinel) with their critically acclaimed album, Sing Me Back Home (Burgundy Records/Sony BMG Strategic Marketing Group/Honey Darling Records).

Recorded six weeks after the storm that ravaged their beloved hometown, Sing Me Back Home features 13 new recordings by an all-star cast of the Crescent City's finest musicians, including members of The Meters and The Neville Brothers, Dr. John, Irma Thomas and Marcia Ball, Big Chief Monk Boudreaux, Willie Tee, the subdudes, the Mighty Chariots of Fire, John Boutte and Troy (Trombone Shorty) Andrews. Highlights include "This Is My Country," "Fortunate Son," "Walking To New Orleans" and "Why."
