Delafose wants friends, fans
to "Treat Me Right"
A versatile performer, Tony Delafose not only sings, but plays bass,
rubboard and sometimes drums and likes to infuse sexual innuendo into his
lyrics. His most recent album is Treat Me Right on Zydeco Hound Records.
Although only 39 minutes long, this album has been well-received by critics
and fans alike. Tony Delafose and Friends features an unusual combination
of two accordian players in Dewayne Rubin and Christopher Paul Ardoin. Although
the songs have few words and sometimes none at all, Tony Delafose and Friends
has proven a popular act on the Zydeco circuit. |
