Musical sounds range from Zydeco
to Hip-Hop to Motown
Sean Ardoin has taken all of the influences of his Zydeco musical
peers, including Keith Frank, Geno Delafose and the late Beau Jocque and
put them all together in an appealing musical package on his debut album.
Riding his past successes with younger brother Chris Ardoin and Double Clutchin',
Sean has assembled a capable group of guest musicians to form ZydeKool including
guitarist Mark Whitfield and drummer Scooby Worthy. Together, Sean Ardoin
-n- ZydeKool deliver a neat package of material capable of filling dance
halls and concert stages from Southwest Texas to The Big Easy. Ardoin has
put together a repertoire of various musical styles ranging from Zydeco
to hip-hop to sounds of The Motor City. Once you get over some of the unnecessary
rough spots presented in the form of intros, with the exception of the endearing
voice of Sean Ardoin II, you're taken for a pretty Kool ride courtesy of
Sean Ardoin's talents. |
