A musician whose time is comingThroughout 1997, Ravi played guitar for that year's top selling band in the world, Hanson (Mercury). They performed the platinum, #1 hit single, "Mmmbop," and other cuts from their two multi-platinum albums including Middle of Nowhere for President Clinton and the First Family, on radio and television programs worldwide, and in the world's most prestigious venues including Madison Square Garden (NYC). Crowds exceeding thirty thousand screaming fans attended their concerts around the globe. During 1998, he released his first CD entitled Ravi, collaborating on his music with many great talents including five time Grammy award winner (fifteen nominations) producer and engineer, Bruce Swedien (Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson). Appearances included autograph signings in music and book stores throughout the country, and performances with his band at Goodwill Games (NYC) and Oyster Fest (Connecticut). Brian Moore Custom Guitars also released the Artist Collection CD featuring Ravi amongst other renowned artists including John Abercrombie and Russ Freeman. |
