Naked Orchestra
The 'Big Band' companion

If you like the Sun Ra Arkestra, Charles Mingus Big Band and Igor Stravinsky-you'll love the Naked Orchestra. The NAKED ORCHESTRA is the Big Band companion to the Avant -Jazz Quartet "Naked on the Floor". The group is led by Jonathan Freilich, who in his spare time is the guitarist/composer of the New Orleans Klezmer Allstars. Naked Orchestra boasts 18 members who also play in some fine musical groups like: Galactic, Astral Project, Mas Mamones, the Iguanas, Iris May Tango, N. O. Klezmer Allstars and Michael Ray & the Cosmic Krewe, to name a few. Naked Orchestra has performed three times and only at Tipitina's Uptown the Orchestra is truly a Cosmic, Intergalactic musical endeavor.
