A very special evening of Cuban music
Los Vecinos is a six-piece band that specializes in Cuban rhythms and song
forms. Their sets include original compositions as well as classics made
famous by Cachao, Chapotin, and the Beuna Vista Social Club. This band is
made up of musicans that have played in the New Orleans Latin music scene
since 1994. Los Vecinos blends Latin dance rhythms with jazz improvisationto
create a party atmosphere that comes across on the big stage or on the front
porch. The core members of the band are Michael Skinkus David Sobel, Hart
McNee, Jonathan Freilich, John Bagnato, and Andrew Wolf. It is not uncommon
to see Robert Wagnher, Joe Cabral or Kufani joining the band from time to
