Good combination of talents makes
for memorable act
A band with explosive energy and amazing improvisational skills, Leftover
Salmon has moved and grooved audiences for over a decade. Poly-Ethnic
Cajun Slamgrass, as they like to call it, is the unique signature
style that they have created. Leftover Salmon is a Colorado based band
and consists of five members, two of which recently joined the assemble.
Acoustic guitar player and Lead vocalist Vince Herman, from Pittsburgh,
Pa., employs a wild style with his enthusiastic vocals. Original band
member, Drew Emmit, from Nashville Tenn., plays the Mandolin and the electric
guitar. Drews harmonizing vocals and songwriting abilities have been an
inspiration to both the band and audiences. Greg Garrison has recently
been added to the mix. Leftover's new bass player is from the windy city
of Chicago. He plays the 5 string electric, as well as a German carved
acoustic bass. Another new addition is drummer Jose Martinez, hailing
from Miami, Fl. Marc Vans, electric banjo player extraordinaire, always
throws down with lightning bluegrass licks, and supporting vocals. Marcs
other instruments, the water phone, and the rubber fish ... well, those
instruments speak for themselves. Also, there is keyboardest/vocalist
Bill McKay, who was previously with the Derek Trucks band. ~
