A Promising artist in transitionOnce a folk-singing Yankee on the coffee house circuit (touting a degree in ethnomusicology), Lyons eventually landed in New Orleans and became a member of the French Quarter street music scene as a member of The Big Mess Blues Band. With his debut CD Deltabilly Swing, the world was introduced to a promising artist in transition to live club sessions of a young lion beginning to scratch out his turf. The Deltabilly Boys are friends of Lyons who have come together to form the powerhouse behind the sound with Greg Schatz on contrabass and vocals and Paul Santopadre on drums. Having recently completed a second (soon to be released) CD produced by Grammy winner Mark Bingham, Jeremy Lyons & the Deltabilly Boys are sure to be recognized as a world class |
