ISAACS’S GUNS is a modern rock band that creates music transcending
time and generations. Cultivated in 1997 within the rich musical climate
of New Orleans, ISAAC’S GUNS has been able to fine-tune their art of creating
well-crafted songs. What is apparent is their enjoyment and infectious energy
for the music as exhibited on their recordings and live shows. Isaac’s Guns’
sound is cerebral, melodic in nature, yet provides contrast with their ability
to shift to edgy, moodier material. The band is comprised of: Ron Hotstream-vocals/guitar,
Mary Lasseigne-bass/vocals, Eric Pitts-keyboards/guitar/vocals, and Jason
Weiss-drums. ISAAC’S GUNS has performed as the opening band for nationally
known acts such as PAT BENATAR, GENE LOVES JEZEBEL, BOW WOW WOW, and LINDA
PERRY (former lead singer of FOUR NON-BLONDES). They have enjoyed tremendous
success performing at Tipitina’s, The Howlin’ Wolf, various festivals, including
the NEW ORLEANS JAZZ AND HERITAGE FESTIVAL 2000, benefit performances around
the Southeast, and four sell-out shows at the HOUSE OF BLUES. They released
the album KissKissBangBang in 1999, and their new CD, Cha Cha De Amor, in
September 2000. |
