Original Jazz fusion influence
Idletime began in 1997 when Aaron Wilkinson,
Tom Leggett and Curtis Joseph moved to New Orleans to continue the musical
partnership that they had formed in college. Ted Hefko joined the group
that winter and the band developed a unique sound, blending jazz, rock,
funk, and jazz-fusion influences. The band's repertoire maintains a heavy
emphasis on original music, infused with re-inventions of songs representing
the full spectrum of its members' musical backgrounds. idletime performs
regularly at venues throughout the southeast, and has played to crowds from
Pensacola to Chicago, from Atlanta to 'Frisco... |
