Opportunity knocks at your door steps 'grab it'

8th Floor Homegrown Music Night is held Wednesday night (pending scheduling) at 9 p.m. at Tipitina's Uptown to allow developing artists an opportunity to perform on our stage. Each Wednesday night will feature three different bands playing a 45-mnute set. The bands can also obtain a free VHS video and DAT of their performance (for purchase). Although there is no cover charge, each group is given a number of tickets to pass out. The group who has the most tickets turned in may be eligible for a higher profile gig at Tipitina's in the future.
