Since 1998 Juice is gradually establishing themselves as one of the premier live acts in New Orleans thriving young funk scene. juice has built a solid national fanbase and received strong critical acclaim for their psychedelic mix of funk, blues, second line jazz and classi N.O. R&B. In recent months they have shared the bill with such luminaries as the Funky Meters, Ratdog, the Radiators, Galactic, Walter "Wolfman" Washington, Peter Rowan and more. As a live unit, Juice has earned a stellar reputation for an amazing musical diversity, as well as their 3+ hour marathon shows. In true New Orleans tradition their shows have attracted acclaimed musicians both locally and nationally. Always willing to take musical chances, they have been joined onstage for impromptu jams by members of the Funky Meters, String Cheese Incident, Sly & the Family Stone, Herbie Hancock's Headhunters, Galactic, Zambiland Orchestra, Ozomatli, Soulive and more.
